I didn’t stop talking about Elton John the whole time from start to finish (and beyond) of this book!
The stories he tells are so gripping, and it gives amazing insight to an incredibly well lived and varied life.
I love hearing some background to his career and songs. And it’s great that it sounds like Elton, even though it’s read by Taron Egerton.
It’s amazing to go on the journey through his love life, familial relationships, work life, fatherhood, addictions and recovery with him and hear his side of the stories too.
Cannot recommend this audiobook enough! I’ll probably buy the paper copy at some point to read through too.
